Anti-Ragging Policy

BM Group Of Institutions is committed to providing a safe, secure, and supportive environment for our students, faculty members, and staff which is free from any form of violence, harassment, exploitation, and intimidation. This includes all forms of ragging, which is a social menace and a criminal offence as per the law of the land.

We aim to achieve this by

  • Creating, developing, and nurturing a conducive, socio-academic environment within the student population.
  • Educating the students about the ill-effects of ragging and the legal consequences of indulging in it.
  • Implementing the directives of the Supreme Court, the UGC, and other statutory bodies in respect of preventing and curbing ragging in the institution.
  • Establishing an effective mechanism for reporting, monitoring, and redressing any incidents or complaints of ragging.
  • Taking prompt and stringent action against any student or group of students found guilty of ragging on campus or off campus.

We are transparent in our processes, policies and decisions related to anti-ragging measures.

We cooperate with the authorities, the media, and the civil society in creating awareness and sensitization about ragging.

Empathy

We are committed to ensure prevention and curbing of ragging on campus or off campus, however, in the rarest case of contempt, we take stringent action against the culprit(s) and empathize with the victims of ragging and provide them with necessary support and assistance.

We are mindful of the environmental, social, and economic impact of our actions.
